I think it’s safe to say that Google will be trying to promote itself on Instagram. Instagram is a service that lets you post your photos on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks, and you can also post on your personal Google Plus account. I don’t know if a Google Plus account is actually Google’s official social network, but I think it’s safe to say it could.
To be fair, Google has always been about sharing and collaborating. But it’s been getting more ambitious lately. I think it’s because in the past it was more about advertising and branding. Now, Google wants to become a social network that lets you share and collaborate. I think that Instagram is the first major service to get this. So if you are into sharing and collaborating, it makes sense to share your Google Plus account.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see how Google handles this. I can however say that there is no doubt that there will be a lot of people sharing their Google Plus accounts for a variety of reasons.
