I had just been given an iPad by another blogger and I quickly noticed how neat and tidy the packaging was. The problem was that the skins themselves were so small (7.2 x 1.5 in) that they would not fit into the iPad’s compartment. I asked for a larger iPad because I was willing to lose a few millimeters in length to get them in there.
Yes, there is a way to do this. 7.2 inch iPad are available in a variety of sizes, with two being the most common. If you would like to get your hands on one of these models, the process is relatively simple. The first thing you need is a 7.2 x 1.5 inch iPad case, which should be easy to find. After you have your case, you’re going to need a 7.2 x 1.5 x 1.
It looks like a cool gadget, but I’m not sure that these will be made available to consumers until the end of this year, when Apple finally begins allowing people to order new iPad models with 7.2 inch retina displays. I don’t know that Apple has said anything about why they are keeping this a secret, but it’s possible that they are awaiting a lot of apps to make this available. For now, you’re going to have to pick up a 7.2 x 1.
Well, to be honest, most of these 7.2 inch iPad skins are nothing to write home about. They just look cool and pretty. The one that really makes me think that the 7.2 inch will indeed be coming in 2011 is the one with the red and gold screen. Thats because the retina display iPad with its blue screen is rumored to be coming with at a higher resolution and it will have a larger color gamut. The 7.
iPad is a brand that always seems to have a chance at a higher resolution and a larger color gamut. Some rumors have it that the retina display iPad is going to have a 7.2 inch screen. Of course, it will likely be with a slightly lower resolution than the iPad 2, but if a larger gamut is a priority, then this may be the direction.
7.2 is the next-generation Apple device from Apple, and the one that will feature a larger color gamut and a higher resolution. This will be on top of the next generation iPhone, which will feature a larger screen than the current version. 7.2 will likely sell for $199, which is a slight increase over the $199 price of the iPad 2.
The next-generation iPhone will likely be available in the spring of 2012, or later. The 7.2 inch screen is expected to be available in the fall of 2012.
I have to admit, I’m a little sad to see 7.2 coming out this year. It’s a very unique product and it may very well be one of the first products with a larger screen to truly take advantage of it. I’m excited to see what the next-generation Mac OS X will look like in comparison to the current one.
7.2 is much different from the 7.1 model, which was released in August 2012. It’s a bit more powerful and it also has more memory than the previous version. That said, it’s still very much a 7.1.7 device. That means the keyboard is one inch larger than before, and there are two additional camera lenses to choose from.
The hardware difference is largely cosmetic. So the more important reason to upgrade is the increased screen size. There are even more buttons on the keyboard and the new camera lenses. I don’t know about you, but I find myself using a different camera lens than the one I used to use. It’s not a huge deal, but it would be awesome if the keyboard was a bit larger, and I’d prefer a higher resolution screen, so I can see everything that’s on the screen at once.
