I’m going to be completely honest here and say that I don’t think there is a church that does enough evangelism with the people that are going through the ministry. I mean, I do not think there is a single church that is doing enough evangelism with the people that are going through the ministry.
Well, there are many churches that are doing a good job of evangelism and spreading the word, but they tend to congregate in small, scattered groups. And while the group dynamic can be helpful in spreading the word, it can also be frustrating for those that fall through the cracks. For one thing, the people that are being evangelized are usually not the ones that are going to be the most effective at spreading the word.
The main reason that I’m pretty busy is that I don’t feel particularly motivated to do evangelism; it’s just the main reason I’m doing it. I have people who are kind of the type of evangelists that I want to work with and who know how to use the tools (the tools that I’ve got) that I use to spread the word. So I’m just going to leave the job that I am doing in the ministry.
Im not saying that you can’t do evangelism. If you’re a pastor, I’m sure you can. You just need to find people who are a similar kind of person as you.
