The Lenovo Ideapad 120 s is a great budget Android tablet. This 14 inches screen is a great upgrade from the 14 inch iPad Air. Lenovo has done a great job of making their tablet look like a larger tablet so you can easily get around without a lot of room. The screen is a tad small, but it is incredibly sharp and has the look of an IPS screen.
The downside is that the tablet is a bit expensive at $250. For that price you can get a 15 inch iPad Air, but the Ideapad is more portable. You can take it with you anywhere and not worry about space, battery life, or that it’s too big for your bag. The Ideapad has a good 10 hours of standby time and a full charge in less than half an hour, which is excellent for a tablet. And the screen is great.
As with most laptops, the Ideapad has an Intel Atom Z3540 processor. The only other difference is that the Z3540 runs at 1.7 GHz instead of 1.33 GHz. That’s because the CPU has a Turbo Boost so it can take advantage of a new Intel CPU architecture to boost performance.
The Z3540 is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Atom Z3540 processor with 2MB of L3 cache; 512 MB of L2 cache; and 4 MB of L1 cache. It also has a very fast 1.3 GHz core for graphics. The Z3540 has been tuned to have a quad-core CPU with a Turbo Boost up to 2.2 GHz.
The Z3540 processor is one of the few things with an Intel CPU that can run on Windows without any special software. The only software you’ll need to install is the Intel Toolbox utility. This tool is a full-blown Windows program that gives you full control of the Z3540’s features.
The Z3540 has all the horsepower that you expect from a 14-inch (3.5-inch) laptop, but with the added advantage of a 4-inch display and a big screen quality of 4K. The Z3540 is definitely one of these laptops that will be a huge hit at trade shows and other major events. It will be much more affordable than the Z3550, which is only available with a 1.7 GHz dual-core CPU.
The Z3540 is a new line of laptops that were made to compete with the iPad. Lenovo says they aim at a price point of $450. That’s $100 cheaper than Apple’s iPad and $100 cheaper than the entry-level Macbook Air. Lenovo also claims the Z3540 is the first Intel-based laptop to have a 4K display. This is pretty impressive, considering the Z3550 only had a 800 x 600 display.
The Z3540 is almost the exact same as the Z3550 with a new design and even the same processor, but more memory and graphics. It comes in 16GB and 32GB models, but only the 32GB version has a 4K display. It will come with a new 15.6-inch display. Lenovo has a price of 450 for the Z3540, which is pretty affordable when you consider the Z3550 is only 500.
With the Z3540, Lenovo is really reaching a new high with 1080p laptops. The Z3550 was a pretty decent laptop, but it was limited to a 800 x 600 display, and even then you had to have a very good, expensive video card to really get the full effect that 1080p had. The Z3540 looks to be on the same level with the Z3550, and it will have a higher resolution screen.
The Z3540 was also the first Z series laptop to get a TouchPad, the Z3550s has a Trackpad, but it is very small and is still missing a trackball. For $450, it is not a bad deal, but it is not a great deal either. The Z3550 is a nice option if you want to have a decent laptop, but it is not a great option if you want the latest and greatest hardware.
