The amazing Eva Danino is a young writer based in New York, and has written several books on life, relationships, and the human experience. She has been featured on CBS This Morning and as a guest expert on the TODAY Show. Danino has been featured in the New York Times, Huffington Post, and the Wall Street Journal, to name a few.
Danino’s short story “Mile High High” was published in the November/December 2014 edition of the magazine The Best American Short Stories. She is also an award-winning screenwriter, with several published short films and credits to her credit.
Danino is also an award-winning novelist, and she has been published by The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, and The Philadelphia Tribune. She has been a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award, the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Pulitzer Prize, and the National Book Critics Circle Award.
Danino’s work has won more than one million dollars in writing awards. Her short stories have been translated into more than twenty languages, and her novels include the New Yorker best seller, The House with a Clock In Its Walls.

And she has certainly proven to be an extremely prolific writer. Her short stories have been collected in the collection Stories by Women. Her novel The House with a Clock in Its Walls was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize as well.

So I was reading your book The House with a Clock in Its Walls. I was also reading one of your articles, which I think are quite entertaining, but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen you talk about your writing in quite the same way. I’m not a big fan of writing in the third-person, which I think is a bit of a turn off. But I was intrigued by your story about the house with a clock in its walls.
As I think I mentioned in the intro, the house with a clock in its walls is a story. A lot of the book is about how the house with a clock in its walls is a story. The clock in the walls is the clock that keeps telling the story. I dont think Ive ever read anyone write about their writing in quite this way.
