Amazon’s Blue Badge allows you to earn points that can be redeemed for free Amazon products. It sounds like a good idea, so I went ahead and ordered my first blue badge. The blue badge has a lot of perks, but it’s the ability to earn points that makes it so worth it. The points can be redeemed for free Amazon Prime, Amazon Music, Amazon Gift Cards, and Amazon Video.
I have one of these, and while it’s great for getting free Amazon products, you do have to be willing to spend the points. I would have rather gotten a free Amazon gift card or music, but I can’t remember if that was already included or not. I’m not sure I want to pay for Amazon gift cards, but I can’t figure out why I am not.
It is a very rare thing for Amazon to give out freebies, so I’m sure I will get a few emails from people saying, “I have some free Amazon gift cards, can you send them to me?” I will definitely get one but you have to be willing to spend the points. That said, I do not own Amazon Prime, so I would be happy to receive Amazon Prime with no Amazon gift cards or music.
