Although this is the passive voice, I would argue that it is active. The right thing to do is not the wrong thing to do. Its not like we are in a movie where a character is saying, “No, no, no….” It is the passive voice, and the right thing to do is the right thing to do. No one ever tells you to do something because thats what the character is doing, not some other thing.
